A former Scottish policeman has been jailed for three years at the Dublin Circuit Criminal Court for the possession and distribution of child pornographic.
Gordon Bowers (49), with an address at Pembroke Square, Grand Canal Street in Dublin, was also found guilty of possessing a quantity of child pornography videos.
Bowers had pleaded guilty to three charges of possessing and knowingly distributing child pornography.
