The former headmaster of an exclusive Co Down school has appeared at Belfast Magistrates Court on three charges of sex offences against pupils.
Mr John Agg Large (56) gave his address as Tawny Croft, Church Street, Tansley, Matlock, Derbyshire, where he is now teacher.
In court on Saturday, he was accused of indecently assaulting a boy on dates unknown between January 1st, 1977, and December 31st, 1981, at Rockport Preparatory School in Craigavad. He was also charged with offences against two other boys at the school over approximately the same period.
He was remanded on his own bail of £1,000 to appear again at Bangor Courthouse on April 30th.
