The recent drop in the euro currency is good for the German economy, but high oil prices are still a huge problem, German Economy Minister Wolfgang Clement said today.

"It is a certain normalisation for Germany, which is sensible and good for the economy," Mr Clement said, referring to the euro. Mr Clement also said he saw signs that China was becoming more flexible on its exchange rate.
