The Minister for Enterprise and Employment, Mr Bruton, announced approval for a Diploma for Social Entrepreneurs project at the Alliance for Work Forum conference in Dublin yesterday.
The EU contribution to the project was £192,000, out of an anticipated cost of £250,000, he said.
The Alliance for Work Forum has been helping to develop opportunities in Dublin's North Inner City area over the past decade.
