ANKARA - Syrian authorities have arrested hundreds of ethnic Turks following a recent series of bombings, a Turkish group said yesterday. The Financial Times reported that Syria's President Hafez alAssad was the target of a bomb attack in Damascus early last month. The US State Department last week confirmed explosions in Syria over the past month.
