SPAIN: The Spanish government yesterday published pictures of six suspected members of the Basque separatist group ETA, whom, it said, might be planning an attack over the holiday season. "All these people are on the run from justice, and could be preparing an attack during the summer," the interior ministry said in a statement.

ETA has attacked Spain's tourist industry in the past, bombing hotels in resorts such as Benidorm and Alicante.

A ministry spokeswoman said security forces were not aware of any specific threat to tourist targets. "The main objective of the communique is to help identify these people".

The suspects are three men and three women aged between 25 and 33.
