BARCELONA - The Basque terrorist organisation ETA stepped up pressure to force Spain's government into talks with two attacks yesterday, in Grenada and in Madrid, which left a Supreme Court judge and an air force staff member, with several more civilians injured, reports Alex Seo.

In separate incidents, a suspected member of the organisation was found hanged in prison at the weekend, while a leader of the political wing, Herri Batasuna, also died at home yesterday, the victim of an apparent suicide.
