A Limerick councillor has called for the same electricity facilities for travellers as for other customers

A Limerick councillor has called for the same electricity facilities for travellers as for other customers. Mr John Ryan (DL) said the ESB would connect a family at the Bawneys Bridge halting site only as part of a package deal with the local authority which owned the site. It was discriminatory, he said, for a State utility to behave in that way.
