The Eastern Regional Health Authority is to purchase Baggot Street Hospital for £13.7 million. The former Eastern Health Board had licensed the hospital from the board of governors since June 1990. This licence is due to expire at the end of the month.
A wide range of medical and community-orientated services is provided at the hospital.
