An equal opportunities intervention programme for the Irish food industry was launched yesterday by the Minister for Enterprise and Employment, Mr Bruton. Its intention is to draw up an integrated plan to increase the participation of women in management and decision making.
The programme is being promoted by Golden Vale, Greencore, Kerry Group, the Faculty of Food Science in University College Cork and WITS (Women in Technology and Science).
