Gardaí in Ennis are investigating an alleged sexual assault on a woman yesterday evening.
A garda spokesman said a woman in her 30s was assaulted by a number of men in a house in the town.
She was later treated in the South Infirmary Hospital in Cork.
The scene has been preserved for a forensic examination.
