An Englishman is to appear before court today in relation to the deaths of a married couple from Knocknacarra Park, Galway, last weekend.
Mr Dean Stoakes (34), Burton-on-Trent, Staffordshire, is due in Harristown District Court on charges of dangerous driving causing the death of Mrs Theresa English at Moyvilla, Oranmore, Co Galway, on February 11th.
Mrs English was travelling with her husband, Mr Shay English, at about 6.30 a.m. when their car was involved in a head-on collision with the articulated lorry being driven by Mr Stoakes on the main Galway-to-Dublin road.
