MEXICO CITY - The Mexican Senate, following earlier action in the Chamber of Deputies, has approved unanimously a landmark electoral reform plan that would after the very nature of Mexican politics.
The vote clears the way for a joint session of Congress on September 1st, which will consider the historic overhaul.
