An 82-year-old woman was tied up during a robbery in her home in Co Tyrone yesterday by a bogus caller.
The woman was tied to a chair in her home in Gortmerron Link in Dungannon.
The man, who had claimed he was a surveyor to gain entry, fled the scene empty handed.
The victim managed to raise the alarm by hitting a panic button issued by Age Concern.
A PSNI spokesman said a man had been arrested in connection with the attack.
