A woman in her seventies was killed in Limerick city when she was hit by a truck yesterday evening.
She has been named as Catherine Nunan (77) with an address at John's Street. She was taken to the Mid Western Regional Hospital for treatment after the collision at 6.30pm but died a short time later.
