An elderly female pedestrian died in Rialto this morning after she was struck by a cement lorry.
Gardaí at Kevin Street are investigating the accident, which occurred on Herberton Road, just off the Rialto roundabout, shortly before mid day today.
The woman's body was removed to St. James's Hospital.
