An elderly female driver has died in a crash with a lorry on the main Dublin to Cork road near Mitchelstown, Co Cork this evening.
The crash happened just after 6.20pm at Curracunna. The woman's body has been taken to Cork University Hospital for a post mortem.
The road is closed while Garda forensic collision investigators inspect the scene and is not expected to reopen until 9.30am tomorrow.
