An elderly Co Galway man who faces 117 sample charges of indecent assault and buggery involving three boys was sent for trial to the next sittings of Galway Circuit Court in July, when he appeared before Galway District Court.
The man, who cannot be named, is charged with offences which allegedly took place on various dates between 1960 and 1980 in a rural part of Co Galway. He was remanded on bail.
