Gardaí are investigating a burglary and serious assault which occurred on Monday afternoon at an elderly persons' complex at Clareville Court, Glasnevin, Dublin.
A 90-year-old man received serious facial injuries and is being treated in the Mater Hospital following a break-in. Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have seen anything to contact them.
