A man in his 70s has died in a house fire in Virginia, Co Cavan.
The fire broke out in a house on Mullagh Road in the town and was discovered by a passer-by at around 5 a.m. this morning.
The cause of the fire is not yet known. Emergency services are still at the scene which is being preserved for technical examination.
