Two elderly brothers, Mr James (79) and Mr Thomas Enright (82), died in a fire on a hillside near their home at Ballyheigue, Co Kerry, on Monday night. It is believed they were overcome by a gorse fire while cutting turf.

Both single farmers, they lived together at Glendahalan. Their bodies were found shortly after 10.30 p.m on Monday. Post-mortems are to be carried out at Tralee General Hospital today.
