Gardaí have arrested eight people and recovered drugs in an undercover operation targeting street dealing in Tullamore, Co Offaly.
Officers seized heroin, cocaine, speed, LSD and cannabis during a number of searches in the town over the past six days as part of Operation Leon.
Gardaí in Tullamore described the quantities of drugs seized as small, but said the discovery of metamphetamine and LSD was unusual.
All eight individuals have been charged, and are due to appear before Tullamore District Court today.
