CAIRO - An Israeli textile worker went on trial in Cairo yesterday charged with industrial espionage and damaging Egypt's national interests. Mr Azam Azam (35) and his alleged Egyptian accomplice, Mr Emad Abdelhamid Ismail, could face 15 years in jail if convicted.
