CAIRO - The strongest sandstorm in 30 years hit Egypt yesterday, killing a man and disrupting air traffic at Cairo International Airport. The storm plunged Cairo into complete darkness for about one hour. An Interior Ministry official said a villager was crushed to death by a tree knocked down by the storm.
