An in-service course at the Irish Film Centre next Friday and Saturday is being held for teachers who want to learn about film. The aim is to introduce educators to core concepts and genres in film; this course will focus on the western. Organised by the Film Institute of Ireland, the course is free - but it is necessary to book in advance.
