IBM and City of Dublin VEC have recently launched Buzznet, a new initiative which allows Youthreach students involved in second chance education to gain access to the Internet.

Five Youthreach centres are now linked to Ballyfermot College of Further Education's computer server and are involved in developing their own websites, and creating an online magazine.

IBM has awarded $225,000 worth of computer equipment to Ballyfermot College of Further Education in Dublin for the development of its computer games and interactive entertainment course called LUDO.
