The injured man, Mr Kenneth Cannon, repatriated from Ecuador yesterday in an operation organised by Mater Hospital medical staff, is in a serious but stable condition. Mr Cannon (35), an electrician from Balbriggan, was injured after being attacked by youths in Ecuador three weeks ago.
