EasyJet is to open a new European base at Dortmund in Germany.
The low-cost airline will introduce eight routes, with three aircraft operating from Dortmund International Airport.
Six routes have been confirmed and the final two will be announced shortly. EasyJet will service Paris (Charles de Gaulle), London Luton, Nice, Palma, Alicante and Rome (Ciampino).
The new services will commence in May.
