LOS ANGELES - A remote region of central California was rocked by a large earthquake and a series of smaller ones yesterday, but no injuries were reported. Seismologists at the California Institute of Technology said the biggest quake, 5.2 on the Richter scale, was an aftershock to a 5.8 magnitude quake that shook the same region on September 20th.
