Jakarta - An earthquake measuring 5

Jakarta - An earthquake measuring 5.8 on the openended Richter scale rocked Indonesia's holiday islands of Bali and Lombok yesterday but there were no immediate reports of casualties.

An official said the earthquake struck at 9.16 a.m. local time and was centred off the southern coast of Sumbawa island, about 1,200 km southeast of Jakarta.
