Earthquake hits Greek islands

Athens - An earthquake measuring 5.7 on the Richter scale shook the south-eastern Aegean Sea early yesterday but there were no reports of injuries or damage. The tremor's epicentre was 50 km south of the Greek island of Karpathos, where residents felt the strong jolt.
