Train commuting times between Mullingar and Dublin will be reduced with a £4 million investment on the line, the Minister for Transport, Energy and Communications said yesterday. Speeds of up to 90 mph will be possible on the upgraded track, according to Mr Dukes. "The spending is part of an allocation of £12.5 million earmarked for improving the Sligo Dublin line.
