The Archbishop of Dublin, Dr Desmond Connell, has set up a tribunal to prepare evidence towards the canonisation of Mr Frank Duff, founder of the Legion of Mary.
Earlier this week Dr Connell swore in members of the diocesan tribunal which will investigate Mr Duff's life. The tribunal is an ecclesiastical court; its function is to establish whether Mr Duff lived a life of "heroic sanctity".
