A Dublin-born man has won the world coffee-making championships in Copenhagen.

Stephen Morrissey (25) beat of competition from 50 other countries to become the World Barista Champion.

Morrissey created a coffee menu including an espresso, a cappuccino adorned with latte art, and finished by revealing his signature drink.

His signature beverage is built with a chocolate and espresso chantilly, a milk and cinnamon panna cotta, then topped off with a little blueberry jelly and ground freeze dried blueberries. It is served as a solid dessert until the last moment, when it is blow torched it into a liquid.

The World Barista Championships took place in the Danish capital from Thursday until yesterday.
