Dublin Zoo welcomes baby rhino

A female white rhinoceros has become the latest attraction at Dublin Zoo.

A female white rhinoceros has become the latest attraction at Dublin Zoo.

The baby rhino was born last week. Zoo officials will release information and photos of the rhinoceros later this week.

The white rhino is listed as "near threatened" to "critically endangered" depending on the sub species.

The zoo has seen a number of births in recent months, with a bull elephant calf born in February and a female elephant calf, Asha, born in May last year.
