A member of staff at a Dublin snooker club was tied up and threatened during an armed raid by two masked men late on Sunday night. The man was locking the premises at Fairview Strand just after midnight when the two intruders, one carrying a hand gun, forced him to the ground and tied him up. A sum, believed to be around £1,000, was taken from the club safe. The staff member managed to free himself sometime later and phoned the gardai.
