Four children reported missing in Dublin yesterday have been located and are 'safe and well', according to gardaí.

An appeal was issued yesterday seeking the public’s assistance in tracing the whereabouts of the four siblings.

The children were last seen on Tuesday afternoon at Parnell Road in Crumlin.

A Garda spokesman said the unusual appeal was issued as there were fears for the welfare of the children.
