About £2,000 was taken by three armed men who raided a post office in Monkstown, Co Dublin, yesterday

About £2,000 was taken by three armed men who raided a post office in Monkstown, Co Dublin, yesterday. Two blank gunshots were fired before making the men escaped in a BMW which they later crashed into a wall in Killiney. The raiders then hijacked a second car, a Honda Civic.

No one was injured in the raid.
