Gardaí are not treating as suspicious the discovery of a man's body in Raheny last night.

Gardaí are not treating as suspicious the discovery of a man's body in Raheny last night.

A post mortem on the body, which was found in heavy undergrowth at St Anne's Park at 9.00pm by a member of the public, was carried out this afternoon.

Gardaí are satisfisfied as to the identity of the body but have not released any further details.

Gardaí said earlier that a preliminary examination of the remains suggested that the body had been in the bushes for considerable time.
