Motorists are being asked to exercise extreme care in Dublin this morning where heavy fog has reduced visibility.
Conditions are particularly hazardous on the N2, N3 and M50.
Motorists have been advised to drive carefully, stay a safe distance from the vehicle in front and to turn on fog lights in affected areas.
