A man accused of stealing a family's car during a burglary allegedly used it later to carry out a second burglary in another part of the city, Dublin District Court heard yesterday.

Det Garda David Kelly said Mr Brian Barry (24), of Belcamp Avenue, Coolock, Dublin, found car keys during a burglary at the Meadows, Howth Road, Raheny on July 28th and used the car to carry out a second burglary at Santry on July 29th. Judge Thomas Fitzpatrick remanded the defendant in custody until October 21st.
