Gardaí have identified a woman apparently suffering from amnesia who walked into a Dublin Garda station ten days ago.

It has been established she is a 42-year-old US citizen with an address in California.
Gardaí issued a public appeal for help after the women, who was carrying a Chihuahua dog, presented herself at Store Street Garda station.
She told gardaí she was not aware of who she was or of any details about herself. She had no identification.
The woman is in the care of the United States embassy.
