Parts of Dublin City are exeperiencing power cuts this morning due to a fault on an underground cable in the south city centre.

The areas affected are Christchurch, Temple Bar and Wellington Quay. It is understood that several hundred ESB customers are affected.

A number of traffic lights were out of operation in the south inner city earlier this morning but have since been restored, according to the company.
