Hourly services could be introduced on the Belfast to Dublin railway line

Hourly services could be introduced on the Belfast to Dublin railway line. This was discussed yesterday at a meeting of the North/South Ministerial Council in Killadeas, Co Fermanagh.

The North's Minister for Regional Development Conor Murphy confirmed after a meeting with Minister for Transport Noel Dempsey: "We want an increase in frequency of the service." Iarnród Éireann and Translink will discuss new engines and speed restrictions.
