Gardaí in Dublin are investigating a bank raid in Inchicore earlier today.
A man armed with what is believed to have been a firearm entered a branch of Bank of Ireland at about 12.30pm and threatened staff.
He escaped with an undisclosed sum of money. A Garda spokeswoman said it is believed the man escaped on foot.
No one was hurt in the course of the robbery.
