Drugs worth more than £1 million (€1.16 million) have been seized by police in Northern Ireland over the weekend.

Two men have been charged after the cocaine and cannabis were discovered during raids of properties in Ahoghill and Ballymena in Co Antrim on Saturday night.

One man (27) was charged with possession of class A and class C drugs and possession with intent to supply while the other (45) was charged with money laundering offences.

Police said the cannabis seized has an estimated street value of £1 million while the cocaine was worth £150,000.
