Gardaí seized drugs worth an estimated €500,000 from a house in Cork city early this morning.
A substantial quantity of cash, 12 kilos of mixing agent and other drug paraphernalia were also seized during the raid on what is described as a cocaine-mixing factory.
The discovery was made after a lengthy surveillance operation by detectives from the Cork Divisional Drugs Unit.
A man (25) has been arrested and is being held under Section 2 of The Criminal Justice Drug Trafficing Act at Gurranabraher Garda Station.
He can be held for up to seven days.
