A man (20) has been arrested following the seizure of drugs in north Dublin with an estimated value of €300,000.
Four kilos of cocaine and a small quantity of crack cocaine were discovered after a raid on a house in Finglas today.
"The seizure this afternoon follows on from a Garda surveillance operation where members of the Finglas Drugs Unit assisted by the Garda National Drugs Unit kept the house under observation prior to it being searched under warrant," a Garda spokesman said.
The arrested man was taken to Finglas Garda Station where he can be held without charge for up to seven days under Section II of the Drug Trafficking Act.
