Drugs worth €105,000 seized in Carlow

A house in Carlow town was searched at approximately 7am as part of an ongoing operation targeting the sale and supply of drugs in the area.

During the course of the search a cannabis growing operation was uncovered. Cannabis plants at various stages of growth were siezed with an estimated street value of €35,000. Cocaine with an estimated value of €70,000 was also recovered.

A man in his 20s and a woman in her late teens were arrested and are being detained under Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act at Carlow Garda station.
