The St Peter, a Russian-registered cruiser, was boarded by the Customs National Drugs team and gardai in Sligo harbour yesterday, for a "routine check-up". A spokesman said there was nothing to report at this stage.
The vessel, which is reported to be there for refurbishment work, has been berthed for three months with no repair work undertaken.
